California Trip Extravaganza Part 6

Andrew and Shauna's Wedding!

We were so thrilled for these two! We've been buds with Andrew for years! Want proof? My friend just posted this pic on FB from us back in the day at BYU!

So we were very excited when Andrew found Shauna and she agreed to marry him!

They got married in Oakland, CA.
It was cold and cloudy before the ceremony

And we had some time to kill

Becca and the temple. This is a special temple for us. This is where Tyson's parents were married! It was great to finally go see it.

Our family.

There they are! The newlyweds!

Becca would give Shauna hugs, but not Andrew. It was funny. She LOVES Shauna!

I love these types of pics.

Mommy's foot hurt, so daddy was walking around with his little girl. She is SUCH a daddy's girl!

Shauna's family.

Me and Becca.

So cute!

Andrew's siblings.

Andrew and the boys, serious mafia style.

Andrew and his buds...I got to be in this one.

Becca stopped cooperating, but we got a pic of the 4 of us.

Heading up to the terrace garden.

The view out to the bay and San Fran from the terrace.

Spires

The flowers in the terrace garden were so so pretty! I loved all the different colored Hydrangia's!

The view down below, zoomed in cause that is Shauna and Andrew taking pics down there!

Becca with a children statue, these children were looking up at the image of Christ on the temple.

At the reception.

Cutting the cake.

They got a little messy.

Throwing the bouquet

During the first dance...doesn't look like it, but it is!

See, dancing...with Becca joining in. She kept following shauna around holding her skirt up and saying "I a Princess!"

She also befriended Shauna's little neice and they danced away together it was super cute!

Glowing Bride!

When it was time to go they bolted! We were all running after them!

One second they were there.

The next they were gone. Seriously Andrew floored it. It was really funny!

Congrats you guys! We love you!

California Tip Extravaganza Part 5

Okay, so I know it's been a long time, but I need to finish updating how great our CA trip was at the end of July/early Aug. So here is our last stuff in Sacramento

Storybook World (or was it land?)
It is this adorable play place where you just pay a small fee for upkeep and you have this whole world of storybook themed things to play on! It was so much fun!

Ready to have fun!

Me and Tyson.

Becca with King Arthur's castle.

On the throne around the round table

The woman who lived in a shoe slide.

Going down with cousins!

The windy mile. Coolest thing ever! I want one in my backyard! Seriously the kids wanted to walk on this over and over and over again!

The crooked house (we couldn't get Maxwell to stay put)

Owl's treehouse slide.

The barn animals, there were pigs, goats, a cow, mice etc. It was pretty cool.

Out in Sherwood Forest on the pracitce gear.

Our own little Robin Hood!

Lunch in Sherwood Forest! Gotta love picnics!

Me and the boys.

Baby Clara!

After lunch we continued out tour stopping at Cinderella's pumpkin carriage first. Look at those two princesses!

Being silly.

Ryan expressing his tiredness and being hot (cause man it was hot!) in "the cheese stands alone"

Wait, am I on Lost Island?

Becca caught in the middle of saying "All Aboard!"

The little enguine that could!

This was my favorite section I think! SO cute!

They had these watering cans for the kids to water all the plants.

Going down the rabbit hole!

In the teepee

On the pirate ship!

One last visit inot King Arthur's castle (cause it was air conditioned...look how pink Becca is! )

Back at home:
The kids had fun outside later that day in the backyard!

We had SO much fun visiting my brother and his family. We got up early and drove out to Oakland for Shauna and Andrew's wedding, so those will be next!

Favorite Quote of the Day

"It's my Jesus. My Jesus in my tummy." - Becca, after taking the Sacrament bread.

I guess she kinda gets it. That or she thinks we're Catholic...
