'Twilight': The Lost Script

My friend Angela found this...it's so hillarious! Check it out! And let me know what you thought!

'Twilight': The Lost Script

My Baby is All Grown Up!

She did it! You all know how scared I have been that she was going to start crawling soon, well she did it! She figured out last night the leg, hand thing and although she is not fast, and not stable, when she wants to she can crawl for a few feet to get a toy! We got some video of it...I am going to have to have Tyson put the video software on our computer so you can all see it!

I am so proud of my little girl! And frightened to death of what all of this means for my life!

Thanksgiving Song

So, I think Thanksgiving is a highly neglected holiday. Poor thing just doesn't exist in the stores, it's only Halloween and Christmas. Are there any songs that are Thanksgiving themed? Not a whole lot, and nothing that is commonly known. So check out the new song on my playlist, Thankful by Josh Groban. It is on his Noel Christmas CD, but I don't think any song could encompas the spirit of this holiday any more.

Enjoy!

Twilight Soundtrack

Hey all! It finally came! I am so thrilled. Now this is not the CD with ALL the music, it is just mostly the songs by famous artists, the score CD is coming out separately on 12/9/08 (You can be sure I'll be getting that one too! For details on it, click here).

The biggest surprise with this CD...Rob Pattinson's song. It is not piano and he sings! Huh. Didn't expect that at all. It is acoustic guitar and he has a fairly decent voice and creates a mysterious and longing song that reminds me of what might be going through Edward's head while Bella is in the hospital (if I undersood any of the words correctly...lets say pronunciation was not one of Rob's goals with singing this song.)

Bella's lullaby was also very good. But kindof a surprise. It is not piano only. I imagine they made it this way to give it more depth and impact, but I am interested in hearing it as piano only. It will be interesting to see if that is the case with the Bella's Lullaby track on the Score CD.

I am so excited for this movie! Now I need to figure out a way to get Rob Pattinson's other song that is in the movie without having to download the whole soundtrack again on itunes...does anyone know if it is one you can download alone?

Oh ya, I also got what was probably the best poster...Bella and Edward, although the JUST Edward one would have been okay too. But I'm happy that I got them both together. (If you don't know what I'm talking about go here.

Rebecca

I had to put some updated pictures of Becca. Today is her 7 month birthday! Wow! I cannot believe how big my little baby is getting. She is the most precious thing in the world, and she is already closer to being a one year old than to her birth!

This is Becca in one of her cute outfits she got for the shower I had in CA. I LOVE the coat with the fur trim. It's just the best. This one shows the whole outfit (including matching decorative jeans!) But this next one was such a cute face I couldn't resist posting that one too!

Here is Becca in her adorable red church dress. Grandma Bowen got this for Becca before she was born and I have been so anxious to put her in it! I think it is super cute. This one is Becca with daddy. We always get good pictures with dad, and hardly any with mom. Oh well. Aren't they cute?

Sweater on....

Sweater off....

Rebecca, I know you can't read this now, but if you do read this someday I want you to know how much I love you and how proud I am to be your mother. I love that you are trying so hard to crawl, and that you are eating your veggies, and that every time I go in to get you out of bed you give me the biggest smile and giggle in the whole world. I love you baby girl!

Sara's Shower

Hey everyone, I thought I would share some pictures of the fun open house/celebration/shower a group of us threw for our friend Sara.

To give some background...this is her kidlett number two. And eventhough she is having a boy again we threw this party for a few reasons 1) because it has been a long hard road for them to get pregnant (I'm not going to go into details, but it has been years in the making to get this little guy here!) and we wanted to celebrate! and 2) Thier first boy was born in the late spring, so all of the clothes they had were off season for this little one. Wearing a short sleeved cotton onsie and some shorts won't cut it for Utah winters!

Many of my pictures turned out blury (including the only one I got of me there!) But here are a few fun ones for you to enjoy. (Anyone who had thier camera there and might have some that aren't fuzzy of the group shots, could you send them to me?)

This is Sara and some of her sisters Dialma and Jena getting some food, but I liked this one cause it was a good shot of the Checkerboard Cake that I made. I know, it's the coolest thing ever. ;)

This is the OTHER cake I made for the party. But this one isn't edible. ;) I was the cake lady that day.

And this one was just too cute not to show. Pretty much after everyone left, our friend Erin's little girl got at the ranch dip. It was hillarious.

YAY!

Two weeks from tonight and counting! You know what I'm talking about!
